Evan on your own domain
Partly builtThree ways to do it. Groups if you have them, forwarding if not.
- Why bother. The other side sees
evan@yourcompany.com. Nothing else changes. - Pick one:
| Way | Best for | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Group | Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 | Make a group, add four records |
| Forwarding | Anyone with a mailbox | Make a mailbox, forward it, add four records |
| Subdomain | Rare | Five records, and the address becomes evan@mail.yourcompany.com |
- We recommend groups if you have them. No mailbox licence, and you can add yourself for your own copy.
- Moving later changes Evan's address. We finish live negotiations on the old one and start new ones on the new.
- We never touch your MX records. Your own email is untouched in every mode.
