BuiltEvery clause Evan negotiates has an ask, a fallback and a line.
| Meaning | Example, payment terms | |
|---|---|---|
| Ask | Where he opens | 30 days |
| Fallback | Where he will settle | 45 days, with late interest |
| Walk-away | Where we stop | anything past 60 |
- He opens at the ask, always.
- He moves only when they do, one step towards the fallback.
- He never passes the fallback alone. He holds and asks you.
- He never offers worse than what they already offered.
- Past the line, he stops and tells you. See holds and deal-breakers.
- Varies deal to deal? Tick it and he asks you at the start of each deal instead of assuming.
